lindsey and joel, married.

I was so excited when Lindsey contacted me a little over 6 months ago about shooting her wedding. I knew the day would be flawless and with such attention to detail...it did not disappoint! The first time I met up with Lindsey and Joel as a couple was at their engagement session. It was so easy to work with them, it made me look forward to wedding dayeven more!  And the wedding day was in a word, perfection.  Both Linds and Joel were so happy all day, I never saw either of them without a smile on their faces.  And did I mention how good they look together :)

Below: They chose to have their First Sight at the front of the church...this is my favorite part of every wedding :)

Below: Don't you just love their expressions as they come down the aisle after just seeing eachother for the first time?! Joel celebrated every little moment throughout the day as if he'd won the lottery!

Below: Lindsey's little brother Noah was so helpful holding his sister's train as she walked up the stairs:)

These little flower girls were so adorable waiting for their turn to walk down the aisle. The youngest one trailed behind a bit since she was trying to pick up all the petals that the other girls had dropped!

Above:  Can't you feel their excitement and relief to finally be husband and wife?!!!

We snuck in a few more shots at the church before heading a couple of blocks downtown.  Lindsey and Joel had set aside 45 minutes after the ceremony for some fun pictures; it was soo nice!

Aren't they the hottest couple you've ever seen ;)

And I've never seen the reception hall look so good! Lindsey hired a decorator who nailed Lindsey's taste to perfection. Lindsey and Joel were so thrilled with how everything turned out.

Above: Toasts from the Maids of Honor and Best Men were heartfelt and full of love.

This party was hopping from the very beginning! It's not very often that Decatur sees a band playing a wedding reception...but it should! Lost Vegas was fabulous all night long and kept the dance floor rockin'.

Thank you, Lindsey and Joel, for being such a warm and inviting couple.  I love how you two are always snuggling up to one another!  May you have a blessed marriage for years to come.
